By purchasing from West Hump Gear Exchange, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. All Sales Are Final
As a consignment-based business, we do not accept returns. Once an item is sold, the consignor receives their share of the sale immediately, and the transaction is considered final.
2. Items Are Sold As-Is
Every item listed on our website has been inspected and has passed our quality control process. However, as these are second-hand goods, we cannot guarantee that all flaws have been detected. While we aim to sell only fully functional gear with minimal wear and tear, some minor imperfections may go unnoticed.
3. Read Descriptions Carefully
We do our best to accurately describe each item, including any noticeable flaws or signs of wear. It is the buyer’s responsibility to review the item description and photos before making a purchase.
4. No Warranty or Guarantees
West Hump Gear Exchange is not responsible for any undetected flaws or functional issues that may arise after purchase. By purchasing, you acknowledge that you are buying a second-hand item "as-is."
5. Release of Liability
By purchasing and/or using any item from West Hump Gear Exchange, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You assume all risks associated with the use of any gear, equipment, or apparel purchased from us.
- West Hump Gear Exchange is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, damages, or losses that may occur due to the use or misuse of purchased items.
- It is your responsibility to inspect and assess the condition of all gear before use and to ensure it is suitable for your intended activity.
- Outdoor activities and sports carry inherent risks, and you understand that West Hump Gear Exchange is not liable for any harm resulting from gear failure, improper use, or lack of experience.
