Founded in post-World War II Yugoslavia, BEKO grew into one of the country's prominent textile manufacturers. While many people today associate the name "Beko" with the modern Turkish home appliance brand, the historical Yugoslavian BEKO was exclusively a massive fashion and streetwear powerhouse. The text printed on the tag reads "Model Beko — 30 Godina Poverenja", which translates from Serbo-Croatian to "Model Beko — 30 Years of Trust." This special commemorative label was utilized on garments produced to celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary milestone.
